A quick ride past the site reveals a collection of earth moving machinery and a massive delivery of earth – presumably to raise the land waterlogged land. There are visionary plans for this site that could make this a tourism hotspot. Connection of the waterway from Lake Kawana to the beach side and bridge should begin in 2017. At this stage the only evidence of water routing are small drainage channels. This will transform the Wurtulla/Warana area and speed up the gentrification process.
